Q: Do I have to download and maintain software on my computer desktop?
A: No, SureLC is a web-based program and can be accessed through your internet browser from any internet-connected computer or device.
Q: What is the PDB?
A: The Producer Database (PDB) is an electronic database containing information about insurance agents and brokers. The PDB links participating state regulatory licensing systems into one common repository of producer information. The PDB also includes data from the Regulatory Information Retrieval System (RIRS) to provide a more comprehensive producer profile.
Q: I have added myself to the SureLC system. What is the next step?
A: After you click "Add Me" button, you will receive an email with instructions on completing your online contracting. If you do not receive the email, check your email spam folder or contact the Licensing Department at 800.321.3924.
Q: I have already answered the interview questions. Do I have to do it again?
A: Yes, but this time it will only take you a few minutes and you only complete the information one time, unless you need to make changes or add an additional carrier. When requesting a new carrier appointment, simply click on the "Appointment Request" in the SureLC system. You may also email or call Ann Arbor Annuity Exchange to request a new carrier appointment.
